It is important to make the distinction between an EV and a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or hydrogen fuel cell car. Although some may claim that the effect of the rise of CO2 concentration levels on average temperature is exaggerated, it is generally accepted that increases in atmospheric CO2 lead to higher temperatures.
